Arakawa maple air layering

It is very difficult to find an arakawa maple in Italy, due to customs restrictions of this kind of trees from Japan. All I found was this commercial specimen too ugly to be left like this. So I decided to air layer it, to restart with a nice base maple and an additional small shoin.
